Policy, Research and Learning Lead
Ufuoma is the Policy, Research and Learning Lead at A4ID and is responsible for A4ID’s policy, research, and learning initiatives, along with developing A4ID’s Thought Leadership agenda. Prior to joining A4ID, he was an Associate Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and Visiting Professor at Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria. Ufuoma has over a decade of professional experience working in the higher education sector across the United Kingdom, South Africa and Nigeria. He brings expertise in programme development and facilitation, policy research, grant and stakeholder engagements. Ufuoma is a C2-rated researcher of the National Research Foundation of South Africa.
Ufuoma holds a PhD and M.A. in Communications Studies from the University of Leeds, UK, B.A. in Mass Communication from Delta State University, Nigeria, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
