Programme Officer - ROLE UK Programme
Fizza is a ROLE UK Programme Officer, supporting the work of the programme’s Development Unit. Prior to joining A4ID, Fizza was working as a Judicial Associate with a senior Justice at the Supreme Court of Pakistan on a range of high-profile human rights and constitutional law cases. Previously, she worked at an international organisation in Belgium on self-determination, international human rights law violations, and advocacy at international institutions, particularly the European Union and the United Nations. She has also worked with law firms in Islamabad and Dubai on international trade law, commercial practice, and employment law. Fizza has a diverse experience of working on human rights and the rule of law both on the ground in South Asia and globally through her engagement with a variety of international institutions.
Fizza holds an Advanced LLM in International Human Rights Law from University of Leiden and completed her Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen Mary University of London.
